Nancy's grandmother taught her to sew when she was eight learning to sew on her grandmother's treadle  machine. Grandma was adventerous and always open to trying ne things. When Nancy's beloved orange velvet pants became too short Grandma said, "Let's ,make them longer!" The world of endless possibilities opened up.
